A decision about a proposed £35m casino complex in Norfolk has been delayed until next month because of worries over a monument to Lord Nelson.
The project on a derelict caravan site south of Great Yarmouth’s Pleasure Beach would include a bowling alley and cinema, and could create 1,000 jobs.
The developers have already scaled back their plans after concerns were raised about how the complex would look.
English Heritage has warned the project could have an impact on the monument.
