E-gambling bosses in Alderney have said the recent issuing of six new licences brings the total number of companies operating on the island up to 25.
Last month, Alderney subsidiaries of William Hill PLC and Sportingbet PLC were given full licences.
Alderney’s Gambling Control Commission said Wager Works Six, Asia Pacific Gaming, World Poker Tour Alderney and Electra Works now also have licences.
Alderney’s e-gambling industry netted £700,000 for the island in 2005.

Online gaming firm 888 has set the price range for the planned sale of its shares on the London market at between 162-212 pence per share.
The range will give the company a market value of between £546.1m-£714.6m ($1bn-$1.3bn) when it floats its shares later this month.
The Gibraltar-based group runs several online sites, including Pacific Poker.
Confidence in the online gaming sector was hit last week when Partygaming warned future market growth could slow.

The owner of gaming website 888.com is hoping to cash in on a recent surge of interest in the online gambling sector by floating on the stock market.
Cassava Enterprises said it hoped to list its shares on the London market by the end of September.
The Gibraltar-based group runs several online sites, including Pacific Poker.
With the listing expected to value 888.com at £700m ($1.2bn), the move should net a huge windfall for the two Israeli families who control the firm.
